This is how you eat antioxidants. Make this for lunch tomorrow, your skin is going to be so happy.
Salmon is an easy and effortless way to get good omega 3 fatty acids and vitamins in your system. You just know your skin will appreciate it.
This recipe is sort of similar to the recipes on TikTok but with more of an Asian dressing with the ginger & sesame, giving it a more umami and elevated taste. We included a good amount of ginger too so that this recipe also is great for women's bodies/health too!

Ingredient & Benefit Breakdown
Salmon
Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which help keep the skin hydrated, reduce inflammation, and support a strong skin barrier.
It's also high in antioxidants like vitamin E and astaxanthin, which protect against free radical damage, and vitamin D, which promotes skin cell repair.
Cucumber
Cucumbers are great for the skin because they are high in water content, which helps keep the skin hydrated and refreshed.
They also contain antioxidants like vitamin C and caffeic acid, which soothe irritation and reduce puffiness.
Cucumbers are rich in silica, a mineral that promotes collagen production, contributing to firmer and healthier skin.
Avocado
Avocados are rich in healthy fats, particularly monounsaturated fats, which help maintain skin elasticity and moisture.
They are also high in vitamins E and C, both of which are antioxidants that protect against skin damage from UV rays and pollution while promoting collagen production.
Rice
Rice is rich in B vitamins, which are essential for maintaining healthy skin and promoting cell regeneration. The antioxidants present in rice help protect against oxidative stress and free radical damage, which can lead to premature aging.
It is a good source of carbohydrates that provide energy for your body, supporting overall skin health and the low glycemic index of rice helps regulate blood sugar levels, which can aid in reducing acne breakouts linked to high sugar consumption.
Kewpie Sesame Dressing (optional)
Sesame is rich in healthy fats, particularly omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Sesame also contain antioxidants, such as sesamol and vitamin E, which protect the skin from oxidative stress and UV damage.
