Welcome Home Recap - Our Biggest Event To Date

There’s something really special and wholesome about bringing people together—especially when it’s to celebrate something as highly anticipated as the launch of our Soft Touch Collection. On the 13th of July 2025, the Alma House lobby transformed into a cozy living room hangout for our Beda Girls, a mix of longtime supporters and radiant new faces, all united by their love for thoughtful skincare and genuine connection.

Okay, real talk—throwing events can be stressful. The weeks leading up to this one were a blur of packing boxes, collaborating and unifying timelines across multiple partners, and making sure everything is ready and set up on time. But the second you all started walking through the door at  Alma House, that nervous energy melted into something way better: pure excitement and unfiltered joy to spend time with the community.

The Mood: Awkward First Dates → Instant Besties

Let’s be real—no one actually loves walking into a room full of people they don’t know. For the first 10 minutes, it was all polite sips of matcha and awkward small talk.  But then? The Beda Girls Effect kicked in.

With conversation cards scattered across the room and slowly seeing familiar faces from previous BEDA community events, before we knew it the room was buzzing like a group chat come to life— also thanks to our Discovery Bingo activity.

The Real MVPs: Skincare, Merch, Snacks, and Seriously Good Energy

No Beda gathering is complete without a little indulgence. You sipped on velvety matcha from Matcha Masta and enjoyed our special edition blue icrecream with Icecream & Cookie Co. The surprise flavour? Blue pea and coconut. It had this gorgeous, subtle and  dreamy blue hue that matched our decor and the overal BEDA vibe.

You even made your own affogatos! Such a smart idea and it tasted so good.

Of course, the spotlight was on the Soft Touch Collection —your beloved Multi-Active Treatment Essence , now even better, and the long-awaited Radiance Soft Crème . The excitement was palpable as you all tested the textures, shared first impressions, and gushed over the merch.

The Thoughtfulness Overflowed

We’re still reeling from the generosity of all of you girls. Some of our OG Beda Girls arrived armed with homemade bakes, nut butters, tote bags, and hand creams —little tokens that felt like hugs. Your kindness reminds us why this community is really something special.

P.S So many of you came with your Holiday Tote in hand. Seeing all the shades of Beda Blue really brightened up the entire space.

Trivia, Triumphs, and Too Much Fun

Then came the Pop Culture Trivia Quiz , hosted by Rish’s Book Club. This round was not for the faint of heart (we made it harder on purpose!), but you blew us away with your obscure pop culture knowledge.

The competitive cheers, the collective groans at tricky questions, the triumphant fist pumps—it was all so alive. Congrats to our winners, who left with arms full of goodies!

Exclusive Updates & Getting Glossy

Some of you may have spotted a few easter eggs around the event. You not only got to see a prototype of a new pouch we've been working on (the response has been so good, we might have to push it up the timeline) but you also tried our Vitamin Lip Serum

You loved how glossy, plush and hydrating the formula is. Not only does it come in a universally flattering rosy mauve shade, we are also releasing a clear high shine shade as well. Did I mention that it's also not sticky?

We’ll be revealing more juicy details soon.

An Event to Remember

This was our biggest event yet. We're so happy to hear that all of you had such a great time and enjoyed the decor, space, sweet treats and activities. All of the planning and bumps in the road was for this: the joy of being together.

To everyone who carved out time to celebrate with us: thank you. For your patience this year, for trusting us through delays, and for embracing Soft Touch with so much love.

With love,

Rachel & Alia
