Ingredient & Benefit Breakdown
Soft/Silken Tofu
Silken tofu is a skin-friendly food full of protein, vitamin E, and antioxidants that support skin repair, hydration, and elasticity, helping reduce signs of aging. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it’s seen as a cooling food that balances internal heat, which can soothe sensitive or acne-prone skin. Plus, it’s easy on the stomach and supports good digestion, promoting clear and healthy skin from the inside out.
Dark Chocolate
Dark chocolate is packed with antioxidants, especially flavonoids, which help protect skin from damage, improve elasticity, and reduce signs of aging. It boosts blood flow, delivering nutrients and oxygen to the skin, which enhances hydration and gives a natural glow. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), dark chocolate is considered a warming food that can improve mood and energy levels, and its rich minerals (like magnesium and iron) help reduce stress, which can positively impact skin health. Altogether, dark chocolate is a delicious way to support glowing, resilient skin and overall wellness.
If there was ever away to make eating chocolate TCM friendly and good for your skin, this is it! This mousse is so easy it only takes five minutes to prep. Perfect for those "low effort, high impact" moments we love!
